  1. To get completely clear about the wisest way to approach a difficult situation--when you're willing to spend a significant amount of time to delve deep into the core issues.
  2. With another person to build a stronger relationship between the two of you. (Schedule around two hours each so that you both have a turn.)
  3. Alone using your journal, scheduling several days to give yourself enough time to develop the depth of understanding that you seek.
